This economic teacher could not contain her laughter
after JediMickey correctly answered her question. The question
was "Can anyone name new markets that will stimulate growth and move
our economy out of the stone age?" JediMickey presented a
qualified, but obvious answer;
"The discovery of America would lead to a self motivating economy supported by inflated demand based on unreal needs presented and perpetuated by the dominate communication industries who have ownership of the majority of suppliers for said needs. This new world could be targeted to focus on market segments to exploit the desires of the society to spend money. As stated, this society's monetary expenditures will not be need based, but rather based on the emotional connection made between a marketed brand and the consumer. Thus, each market segment could be targeted and retargeted by different products and several brands of numerous readily available cheaper alternatives. Such a market would appear to be designed and assembled for a supply-demand structure that could easily be manipulated in favor of the suppliers." The prehistoric bird-brain laughed away JediMickey's flawless answer and claimed it was "Voo-doo Economics". [back to JediMickey meets the Flintstones] |
